Traditionally hand crafted
The Guest mattress has a generous fill of English lambswool, nature's expert heat regulator. It holds warmth when needed and wicks away when it is not. Layered with deep cotton and soft white recycled fibres that add resilient, hypoallergenic comfort.
The individual pocket springs are hand-stitched in place to deliver edge-to-edge support. Each layer is secured with hand-tufting to maintain shape over time.
Like the materials within them, these mattresses don't travel far. Each is made by hand in the Rossendale Valley, in the hills of Lancashire.
Woven Damask
Finished in a softly woven, entirely viscose damask. The ticking breathes easily, drawing away warmth and moisture to keep sleep comfortable.
Natural Hessian
Made from the skin of the jute plant, this breathable layer insulates the 1,500 individually pocketed springs beneath whilst allowing them to move freely.
Sustainable Coir
Drawn from the coconut husk, coir is an infinitely renewable fibre that adds spring to a mattress. Robust yet elastic, it adapts naturally to the body's weight and warmth.
