The Barn
Godalming, Surrey
From the Barn
Our 17th century barn has been a very pleasant destination for many years now. Driving onto the private estate and past green and cushioned Surrey views always relaxes.
All our latest and favourite pieces are on display in the barn for you to test. And if you have children or dogs or both, then they'll be scampering onto your furniture in real life, so they are welcome to do so here.
Our creative team are around to chat as much as you need. If there's a piece of ours you're hoping to try, then let us know in advance and we'll endeavour to arrange.

All the beauty
Naturally many of our designs begin from a place of outstanding beauty, the Surrey Hills near Guildford. A landscape of inspiration for writers Jane Austen and Keats, the backdrop to our 17th century barn was also muse for celebrity Victorian painter - often referred to as England's Michelangelo - George Fredrick Watts and his artist wife Mary Watts. Deeply involved in the local community, May founded the Compton Potters' Art Guild, selling pieces to Liberty.
