Sustainability

I think a lot about the impact I have on the Earth

Deep down I think we all know that none of us are living quite as lightly as we should.

So I try to be as bold as possible in all the design decisions I make. I'm always thinking about ways for us to reduce packaging, eliminate waste, and mould sustainability into all that we do.

The plastic-free protection your furniture arrives in is one instance. Our use of sustainable alpaca hair is another.

And because I believe in setting new standards, I make sure that none of the additional costs for our sustainable actions are ever passed on to you.

Over time...

...I've come to realise that creating furniture, nourishing a community of customers, and finding better ways of living all come from the same place.

Reducing plastic waste

Our sofas arrive cocooned in innovative reusable packaging. No plastic, no waste, no endless piles of cardboard. Just clever design, fewer dents, and less guilt in transit.

Sustainably sourced wood

FSC-certified wood, sustainable and traceable. Pieces made to last, because the most responsible thing furniture can do is stay put for generations.

Solar-powered mills

Our Italian mills don't just weave fabric, they catch the sun. Solar panels power the looms; light woven into cloth.

Local ingredients

Alpaca hair for our mattresses, gathered from the farm next door. Soft, light and warm, and not a shipping container in sight.
