Elsa is inspired by a very special, Edwardian heirloom armchair, given to Leigh, the Love Your Home founder.

When Leigh moved out and got his first place, he asked his parents if he could take the much cherished chair with him. At 13, Leigh had begun his design career by carefully selecting the specific leather, so he'd always felt the piece was his anyway. His parents disagreed and sent him an invoice for £300. In 1989.

Most of our products are made to order, our lead times vary depending on your fabric choice, which you can find on our product page. We'll deliver your pieces all together once your full order is ready. And reach out a week or so in advance to schedule a convenient date and time.

In the unlikely event that you are not totally happy with your product, we have a 14 day return policy (for all UK Mainland orders). We will collect your Love Your Home piece and refund you in full.

I wanted to design a chair for an Edwardian geologist who was resting at their club between global expeditions.

A seat from which to expound upon volcanoes studied, tectonic plates hypothesised and the stiff yet unquenchable yearning that accompanies news of a rival's significant fossil find. The details to delight in are a classical silhouette with rolled arms and neat piping, castors that add both ease and heritage charm, and a lineage that traces back to a chair from our founder's family home.
