Layering a silk dress wool trousers, leather jacket and scarf . The autumn is a great opportunity to experiment with texture. As you begin to layer your clothes, your home also begins to need a little update. I really went to town when layering the NEW Christobelle bed for our recent photo shoot. A throw, blanket large Mongolian cushion or even rug (if you feel the need for bigger change) can completely change the way your home feels as the days begin to shorten. I always have a selection of blankets, throws or warm tactile cushions to snuggle up with, in the snug or bedroom. My daughter hates itchy textiles , so I have become quite an expert in sourcing the most snuggly textiles. My advice would be choose a simple colour palette, then combine big knits, with soft brushed cotton and Mongolian sheep skin. Or crisp linen with, curly Mongolian and fine cotton knit . The more you combine the textures the better! See below some of my favourites this season.
